This tourney was on-line so how quickly the villian called the turn bet isn't much of a tell as it might be in a live game. If the villian were playing multi-tables (I've seen some playing up to 24 at a time) he's response time would vary according to where his attention is at the moment and if he's an action junkey he'll often make snap decisions. In a live game however I would pay more attention to a quick call and re-read the board and betting action for possible draws - especially flush draws. Don't know what hormone it is but so many Loose-Aggs simply can not get away from any 2 suited in the hole!
As for the question on how to play the river - I agree with checking it thru after the 6 gave 4 to a str8 and the knowledge that the villian is known to ck-raise. You will lose SOME value not betting these hands but over-all the chips you save will at least even it out if not save your tournament.
